It's finally here! Jei Jandee pulled through and delivered the newest art cover for our beloved story. Let's talk briefly about what this cover means for The Enigma of the V.
The four characters featured on the cover are part of the main cast from Volume One. The first quarter of Volume One deals with the sudden increase in abductions of White mages all over the continent. That's when we meet Sir Richard, Holy Knight of Dalmacia. He's searching for his sister, a White Wizard that was also abducted. Legend and Meg meet him in Miranda, a semi-cramped town belonging to the Kingdom of Dalmacia. Once Legend learns about Richard's quest, he offers to join him and aid him in rescuing his sister. He doesn't offer his help out of the kindness of his heart, though. He wants to get paid.
We are also introduced to Rachel in this first quarter of Volume One. Just like many other White mages, she was abducted for a reason. Who are the abductors? What do they want with these White mages? Will a Holy Knight, a wannabe adventurer, and a talking pigeon be able to save them? Don't let anyone else tell you about it... find out for yourself! Or perhaps you'd prefer to wait for the comic or even animated version to become available... Just so you know, it may take a while until that happens...
